The focus of this research is to determine the role of the best interest of the child principle in the field of International Migration Law. The focus of children on the move mostly center around the issues children face as migrants. Despite this principle being a constant theme in migration issues, there has yet to be an in-depth analysis of what the role of this principle is in international migration law which is the aim of this research.
